Interfloor was founded in 1828 and has stood for craftsmanship and quality for almost two centuries. The company focuses on high-quality floor coverings. “We grew up with carpets in the family,” says Jeanine Nekeman, the seventh generation at Interfloor. “It is a product that continues to fascinate us with its combination of design and functionality.” Together with her sister Denise Nekeman and Jacco Doorn, they are responsible for purchasing.

With their headquarters in Zwartsluis, Interfloor targets home furnishing specialists in the Netherlands, from the low to high end. Their range varies from carpet to vinyl, with natural materials and colours playing a major role. “Sustainability is becoming increasingly important,” Denise adds. “Although it is not always a requirement, we do integrate it into our collections.”

The collaboration between Interfloor and Tapibel began more than 27 years ago at an annual trade fair. Since then, the bond has only grown stronger. “We have a similar corporate culture,” says Jeanine. “Short lines, clear communication, and a focus on quality make working together very pleasant.”

Interfloor offers several Tapibel collections, including: President E, Diplomat and the new Aztec Weave. These high-quality carpets fit perfectly into their offerings and are appreciated by their customers. “The President E collection is a bestseller with us,” Denise explains. “It offers an ideal blend of durability, style and ease of use.”

Interfloor and Tapibel share a vision of sustainability. Collections such as the ECONYL® Design Collecties, made from recycled materials, are playing an increasing role in their offerings. “We want to offer our customers not only beautiful products, but also a sustainable choice,” Jeanine says.
